First Visit:

We are thrilled that you are considering visiting us and want to ensure that your first experience at our church is warm, welcoming, and spiritually enriching. Here’s what you can expect when you join us for the first time.

Valley Grove Baptist Church

Before You Arrive:

  • Location and Parking: Our church is located at 3040 Old Highway 20 Tuscumbia, AL 35674. You’ll find ample parking available. With several visitor spots in the front parking lot in front of the church.

  • Service Times: We gather for worship on Sundays at 10:30 and Wednesday Evenings starting at 6:15. Sunday School is offered at 9:15 on Sunday Mornings. We recommend arriving 15 minutes early to find seating and experience the full service.

Upon Arrival:

  • Welcome Center: Please stop by our Welcome Center. Our team would love to meet you, answer any questions you may have, and provide you with information about our church and its ministries.

  • For Families: If you’re visiting with children, we offer Children’s church where your kids can enjoy age-appropriate teachings and activities in a safe and fun environment. Our team at the Welcome Center will guide you to the children’s area and help with the check-in process. We also have nursery care available for babies and our team can direct you to the nursery area as well.

During the Service:

  • Worship: Our service typically begins with a time of worship through music. We invite you to engage in worship however you feel most comfortable, whether that’s singing along or reflecting quietly.

  • Sermon: After worship, one of our pastors will share a biblically based, relevant sermon. We hope the message inspires and challenges you in your faith journey.

After the Service:

  • Connect with Us: Don’t rush off! We’d love to meet you personally. Join us in the fellowship area where you can connect with our pastor staff and members.

  • Next Steps: If you’re interested in learning more about our church, joining a small group, or getting involved in our ministries, visit our Next Steps area where our team can provide all the information you need.

Additional Information:

  • Dress Code: Come as you are! Our church does not have a dress code, and our members dress in a range of styles from casual to business casual.
